Condolences

Condolence From: Connie Marable
Condolence: To the Family of Mr.Green,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a kind, generous, gentle man. He always made me feel happy to just be in his presence. His smile and laughter and joking just set the tone for any day you were around him. He loved people and his Scouts and everyone loved him back. He will truly be missed by everyone and the community he loved and gave so generously of himself. He will never be forgotten and always Remembered. May God Comfort each of you as only he can at this time. My Heart ❤️ and Prayers 🙏🏻Are with you all today especially ❤️🙏🏻

Condolence From: Jack H. (Nick) McCall, Jr. & Family
Condolence: Leonora, John, Tony, Sarah and Katherine and family: I am so saddened to hear the news about your father and grandfather. I can only add, as you know, what a friend he has been not just to myself, but to my father, mother and to all of the McCalls over the years. He was more than “just” our family’s insurance man over the years; he and your mom were great friends to my parents and Holly and me. He was a great mentor to me during my own time in Scouting with Troops 135 and 131. I counted him as an inspiration, a teacher, and a friend across the years. In the meantime, I join what I know is a wide circle of friends across Franklin and Tennessee--in fact, around this nation, and maybe, the world!--in offering my prayers of peace for your father’s memory, and for his great and good soul. We were all blessed to have had John M. Green in our lives for as long as we did. He was a good man, and more—he was the best.

If there is anything that my family and I can do to help you and your extended family, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please also accept my most sincere and profound sympathy. All of you are very much in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord be merciful to you all, and to John's great soul.
