Alice Sprenger

Alice Sprenger, age 90 passed April 22, 2014. Alice was born in Hrabovo, Czechoslovakia and immigrated with her family to Chicago, Illinois in 1929. After graduating from Chicago State Teachers College, she married Robert W. Sprenger in 1944. She will be remembered as a loving and supportive mother and grandmother. Always in the pursuit of knowledge, she was a voracious reader and guided our lives with her infinite wisdom. She was a spunky lady with a charismatic personality and a warm, giving spirit. We will miss her here on earth, but what a gift for those who have been waiting on the other side. Alice is survived by her sister, Esther Seabold; daughters Lindsay Haller and Karen Shedron; granddaughter Dr. Bethany Haller-Moore and grandson Tyler Robert Shedron. Please join in the celebration of her life at a memorial service at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Church of the Good Shepherd. Visitation and reception to follow.
