MARTIN, Mr. Alton, age 77 of Franklin, TN died September 1, 2014 at his home. Born in Franklin, TN to the late James & Ethel Polk Martin. He retired from the City of Franklin Sanitation Department. Survived by wife, Annie Forest Martin; son, Robert Martin; brother, Bernice (Faye) Martin; sisters, Willie Mae (Newt) Geasley and Dorothy (Willy B) Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Steve Anderson, Steven Anderson, Marshall Anderson, Eric Burgett, Mike Anderson, Calvin Beard and Mike Hargrove. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Beard and John Burkett.
