Mrs. Alva Madden Smithson, age 87 of Antioch, TN passed away June 26, 2016. Retired Administrative Assistant to the Director of Metro General Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Edd Core Smithson. Survived by: son, Wendell (Katrina) Smithson; daughter, Sheila Smithson (Wendell) Marlowe; grandchildren, Patrick & Joshua Marlowe, Sara & Amanda Smithson; great grandchildren, Jordan Marlowe & Mila Portillo. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens.
