Andrew Karp

Andrew Thomas Karp, 71, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on March 9th. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Laura Mahowald Karp, first wife Mary Katherine Brunke Karp, brothers Daniel and Frank, sisters Laura Mae Rudeen and Katherine Klein Clarken. He is survived by his wife Grace Loftus Karp, children Carolyn (Todd) Kirk, John (Jane Anne), Sharon, and Paul (Marian), grandchildren John, Samuel, and Matthew Kirk, Jacqueline and Shelby Karp, and Sean, Tyler, and Bryson Karp, sisters Barbara Zallek and Louise Liffrig, brother Michael (Rosemarie), sister-in-law Ruth, and cousin Chuck Mahowald. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00AM Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Philip Catholic Church, (113 2nd Ave. S. Franklin, TN). A private burial will take place at a future date at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee.
