Ann Lane

March 26, 1943 — September 30, 2014

Mrs. Ann Warren Lane, age 71 of Franklin, TN died peacefully September 30, 2014 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Ann lived life to the fullest, always with a beautiful smile on her face. She never met a stranger. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was her grandchildren's greatest supporter and #1 fan. A lifelong UT fan, she was a season ticket holder for many years and followed the Vols and Lady Vols for many years. Graduate of Spring Hill School where she was captain of the basketball team and cheerleading squad and homecoming queen. She worked at Lasko Products for 42 years. Preceded in death by parents, Herman "Dot" & Mabel Warren. Survived by children, Suzanne (Jim) Strong, Abbie (Wayne) Bishop & Warren (Valissa) Lane; grandchildren, Parker & Matt Strong, Mackenze Hood, Kristen & Landon Hobbs, Griffin Lane & Logan DePalmer; sister, Faye Goins; brothers, Larry (Sharon) Warren & Randy (Cassy) Warren and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial. A celebration of life service will be conducted 11:00AM Friday, October 3, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Randy Brown officiating. In honor of Ann's passion, please feel free to wear or accessorize with orange if attending the service. Burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Scott & Wayne Goins, Lance Warren, Halston & Houston Warren and Johnny Hobbs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
