Anne Davis

Mrs. Anne Lois Fox Davis, age 91 of Franklin, TN passed away May 25, 2015. Born January 28, 1924 to the late Mr. Charlie Fox, Sr. and Elizabeth Hendricks Fox. Graduated from Franklin High School and worked for the telephone company in Nashville for 12 years. She was preceded in death by first husband, Reedy A. Sears who was killed in a bombing mission over Cologne, Germany during WWII. In 1950, she and Earl Chism "Bill" Davis were married until his death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe G. Hendricks and Mr. & Mrs. E.T. Fox; siblings, Mr. Charlie Fox Jr. and Sara Fox and an infant daughter. Survivors include two sons, Earl Chism (Dianne) Davis II and Wayne Hendricks (Laura) Davis; grandchildren, Carolyn Elizabeth & Melissa Danielle Davis; step grandchildren, Robert Chaz (Tricia) Holt and Eliot Shane Holt; step great grandchild, Wyatt Lee Holt; brothers, Hendricks (Michele) Fox and Tom (Mary Martha) Fox. Services will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Sally Hughes officiating. Visitation 11am-1pm Thursday. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Young family and Carl Gilliam family.
