B. Carroll Johnson, age 73 of College Grove, TN, March 16, 2015. A retired bank executive with the Bank of College Grove/ Bank of Franklin. He was a devoted father, grandfather and husband who loved all of his family dearly. Carroll was a member and past Deacon of the Leipers Fork Primitive Baptist Church. Since his retirement, he became an avid gardener, raising prized tomatoes and loved curing country hams. One of his favorite hobbies was repairing old and antique guns. Preceded in death by parents, Bernice & Josie Johnson; brothers, Samuel and Kenneth Johnson; brothers in-law, Rychen and Dan Hyde. Survived by wife of 26 years, Betsy Hyde Johnson; son, Zack Johnson; daughters, Susan (Scott) Stapleton & Tammy (Timmy) Wilson; sisters, Mattie Sue Johnson & Lavene (George) Neal; grandchildren, Sydney Stapleton, Karly Wilson & Kara (Ben) Stringer.; sisters in-law, Nell Johnson, Wanda Johnson & Anne Hyde; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-8PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday, March 19, 2015, Elder Clifton Johnson officiating. Interment, Johnson Hollow Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Timmy Wilson, Scott Stapleton, Clarence Johnson, Malachi Johnson, Dewey Garland, Wayne Johnson, Tony Neal & Price Johnson.
