LAZENBY, Mr. Benjamin Greer "Ben", age 61 of Thompson's Station, TN, November 9, 2009. Graduate of Franklin High School; Known for his ability to remodel and repair in his self employed business where he treated his customers like family; He worked for CSX Railroad Transportation with 32 years service; He was a cattleman, lover of nature, he loved to laugh and enjoy life to the fullest and loved a big challenge; a loving husband, father, son and brother; a devoted coach to his sons and active with the life's of many children in the Bethesda Recreation Center; he was most recently involved with his sons in their pool league. Preceded in death by father, James Alexander Lazenby; brothers, Clinton Dyer Lazenby & Charles Aaron Lazenby. Survived by wife of 26 years, Joyce Sargent Lazenby; sons, Jonathan Adam Lazenby & Matthew Greer Lazenby; mother, Daphne Louise Dyer Lazenby; sister, Daphne Alexanderia Lazenby all of Thompson's Station, TN; like a son, Josh Stinson of the Bethesda Community; several loving family members and multitudes of friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ministers Faith Mayton & Tyrone Starnes officiating. Interment, Leipers Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Noe, Matt Smith, Jack Gillespie, Justin Long, Jonathan Sherman, Kim Harris, Jason Reyes & Chance Martin; Honorary pallbearer will be Larry High. Memorials may be made to the Ben Lazenby Benefit Fund % Community First Bank.
