LADD, Mrs. Betty Ruth Edwards, age 78 of Franklin, TN. January 8, 2014. She loved being with her family. She enjoyed being around people and never met a stranger. She also enjoyed cooking and her church & family. Preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Vester Edwards and second husband, Alfred S. Ladd; parents, Maud and Rebecca Wiley Crutcher; brothers, Eugene and Daniel Crutcher; sister, Annie Smithson. She is survived by son, Larry (Teresa) Edwards; daughter, Gail (Randy) Brooksher; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Chris) Marlin and Matthew (Wendy) Glenn; great grandchildren, Ella Marlin, Madisyn, Makayla and Mason Glenn; brother, John Crutcher; sisters, Jackie Bruce and Brenda Capra; sister in law, Mary Ladd; brother in law, Bobby T. Ladd. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Ed Slayton officiating. Burial Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Friday and 1 hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ at Millview, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
