Betty and Buddy were members of Forrest Hills Baptist Church for many years. Betty started working for the Caster Knott department store in 1958, she stayed with the company through many transitions and retired with Macy's after 55 ½ years. She would work a full day in heels and then come home and make birthday cakes for people. We all said she had the strength of a Navy Seal with her work ethic and all that she did outside of work, but unlike Navy Seals she did it in heels! Betty will be fondly remembered for her scrumptious cakes and how she made everyone that she met feel special. The world has lost a very special person. Thankfully her spirit of love and kindness lives inside all of us that were privileged to know her and were lucky enough to be loved by her.
