Bonnie Bennett

Bonnie Husk Bennett, age 102 passed away very peacefully, May 1, 2018 with her daughter by her side. Born in Doddridge County, West Virginia to the late William A. Husk and Vallie Jones Husk Hamric. She lived in WV for 94 years before moving to Franklin, TN having lived in Idamay, WV and Quiet Dell, WV. She was a member of the Quiet Dell Untied Methodist Church in Harrison County and attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN. She was a loving wife to the late Clarence "Rusty" Bennett. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her nine siblings, Vonna Ingram, Wanda Skinner, Carl Husk, Vonda Ross, William Husk, Jr., Freeda Wolf, Eloise Heckard, Donald Husk and Ronald Husk. She is also preceded in death by her step father, Charles Hamric. Survived by: son, Clarence (Mary) Bennett of Brentwood, TN; daughter, Barbara Bennett of Franklin, TN with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Susan Bennett and Julie (Chris) Fette; great grandchildren, Reece, Eva, and Cara and several nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor David Bradley officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2419 Bethlehem Loop Road, Franklin, TN 37069.
