Bruce Murray Stables, 81, passed away on September 27, 2022 while courageously battling mesothelioma. He was born June, 27, 1941 in Aberdeen, Scotland to James & Ruth Stables.
Bruce has come home.
Perhaps, his heavenly life is much the same as his earthly life. The same goofy jokes (he was voted most comical in high school), acts of sacrificial service (including 5 years serving in the Marines), fervor for goodness and nobility, and hardworking tenacity may remain. But now with more joy, love, zeal, and peace than the living have ever tasted. Bruce is now more Bruce than he has ever been. His character shines more bright and more wildly than the glory of the stars below him. He has finished his part in the Lord’s work; now he may rest in the arms of the One who loves him most.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Janis Stables, daughters Robin (Wes) Kight, Valerie Stables, Samantha (Dave) Bean. Grandchildren Phillip (Kalyn) Kight, Alison (Brian) Sutherland, Addison Bean, Zephaniah Bean, Gabriele Stables. Great Grandchild Charlie Sutherland. And many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
