Carol Marrero

Carol Marrero, age 56 of Brentwood, TN passed away January 3, 2017. Carol graduated from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY in 1981. She worked 32 years for General Motors. She was active in the UAW, her church, and with metastatic breast cancer research awareness. Her smile radiated a room every day along with her generosity and kindness. She was proud of her family, especially raising her two children. Preceded by: father Louis Baker and brother Benjamin Charles Baker. Survived by: husband of 31 years, Rolando Marrero; children, Rolando L. and Nicole Marrero, mother Catherine Baker, and in-laws Fernando and Waldemina Marrero. Funeral Mass will be conducted 12:00 Noon, January 7, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Rd., Brentwood, TN 37027. Father Joe McMahon will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Saturday prior to the service. Burial will be 3:00 PM on Saturday at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Both nonprofits assisted Carol on her 8 year journey with cancer.
