LONG, Mrs. Carolyn Yvonne Kidd, age 72 of Thompsons Station, TN, July 31, 2014. Retired accountant with the State of Tennessee. Member of the Boy Scouts of America, Middle Tennessee Council Executive Board, Natchez Trace District, Cub Scout Pack 1291 and Scoutung's National Honor Society, Order of the Arrow in the Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge, Nendawen Chapter. Longtime member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and attended Thompson Station Church. Preceded in death by daughter, Rebekah Yvonne Long. Survived by husband, Doyle Long of Thompsons Station, TN; son, Allen (Cherie) Long of Franklin, TN; brother, Gerald (Hilda) Kidd of Jonesboro, GA; sister, Sharon Cranfill of Georgia; granddaughter, Brittany Long. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Duane Murray officiating. Interment, Spring Hill Memorial Park. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Boy Scouts of America. Memorials may be made to Boy Scouts of America.
