Caryl Elaine Moore, 64, of Brentwood,TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her second home on their farm in Manchester, TN.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9 from 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30-11:00 am with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am at Brentwood Baptist Church. All services will be held at Brentwood Baptist Church located at 7777 Concord Rd., Brentwood, TN.
Caryl was born in Lima, Ohio to Wilma J. and William W. McDaniel on June 27, 1953. She went to Shawnee High School and attended Miami University before David J. Moore, her high school sweetheart, convinced her to marry him. They were married at Lima Baptist Temple on March 25, 1972. They've celebrated 46 wonderful years of marriage together creating a lasting legacy of faith, family and love!
Caryl is preceded in death by her sister, Ellen McDaniel Rose; parents, Wilma J. and William W. McDaniel.
Caryl is survived by her loving Husband, David J. Moore; Daughters, Joy K (Rob) Walker of Brentwood, TN, Jaymie R. (Gary) Rankhorn of Cunningham, TN, Jodi L. (Davone) Saiyasak of Nolensville,TN, Jerilyn S. Moore of Manchester, TN, Christi S. (Joe) Hoffman of Dallas, GA, and Jenny J (Chad) Plaugher of Manchester, TN; Sister, Cheryl (Hart) Edmonds; Brother, Raymond (Hillery Haney) McDaniel; Grandchildren, Jackson, Emme and Luke Walker, Lydia, Isaac, Ruth Anne, Sarah and Josiah Rankhorn, Caleb, Keenan, Corinne and Ava Kai Saiyasak, J.R. and Kellen Hoffman, Cason and Lily Plaugher; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Caryl loved the farm and had a passion for the butterflies. She was viewed as the Monarch Butterfly of our family. She also had a passion for the salvation of souls. The family has established Monarch Outreach Mission or M.O.M. to honor her. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Compass World Outreach FBO M.O.M. and mailed to P.O. Box 1524, Manchester, TN 37349.
The family wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to the many healthcare professionals that assisted in extending her life and quality of life. They were instruments of our Heavenly Father.
Rev. 21:4 "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
