Catherine Hinds

Catherine Cope Hinds, 80, passed away at Alive Hospice Friday, June 2. Born to the late Mary and Denton Cope on March 13, 1937, Catherine was a lifelong resident of Nashville and Franklin, TN. Catherine graduated from West End High School in Nashville in 1955 and married Larry Hinds in 1956. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Denny Hinds (Debbie) Nashville and a daughter Laurie Pyle (James) of Franklin, a granddaughter Andrea Hinds Keller (Louis) of Nashville and a great granddaughter Brynne Keller. She is also survived by a sister Barbara Cope Lacey (Russell) of Franklin and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Catherine was a true lover of the German Shepherd breed and she raised, trained and showed Shepherds for more than 35 years. Thanks to her caregivers for 14 years of assistance. In lieu of flowers donations to Alive Hospice, Patterson Street, Nashville are appreciated. Services will be Saturday, June 10 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN.
