Charles McDaniel

August 1, 1933 — July 4, 2014

McDaniel, Mr. Charles M. age 80 of New York, NY formally of Nashville, TN passed away July 4, 2014. A graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy in 1951, he received his Bachelor Degree from Vanderbilt University in 1955. After serving our country in the United States Army during the Korean War, he became an investment banker in New York, eventually retiring the 1990's. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl McDaniel Duckworth; sons, Charles M. McDaniel, Jr., David G. McDaniel and Robert P. McDaniel; brothers, Matthew Fontaine McDaniel, Thompson McDaniel and Allen P. McDaniel and 11 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will take place 3:00PM Monday, July 7, 2014 and visitation one hour prior to the Mass at St. Philip Catholic Church, 113 2nd Ave. Franklin, TN. 37064, Father Bala and Father Patrick O'Donovan officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Financial Aid Program at Montgomery Bell Academy, 4001 Harding Rd. Nashville, TN. 37205.
