January 29, 1934 — May 7, 2014

SMITHSON, Mr. Charles Reece, age 80 of the Peytonsville Community died May 7, 2014. Born in Williamson County to the late Charles Herbert & Virginia McGee Smithson. He was a member of Cowles Chapel United Methodist Church and the Bethesda Lodge #201. He loved mules and antique tractors. Preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Smithson Grace. Survived by sons, Mike (Schontel) Smithson and Tony (Kim) Smithson all of the Peytonsville Community; sisters, Betisue Lovett of the Harpeth Community and Jane Cantrell of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Abbi Varney, Colton Smithson Emler, Brittany Keuthee and Matthew Smithson; great-grandchild, Dakota Dewey and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Hubert Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Poteete Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Smithson, Colton Emler, John Graves, Jackie Glenn, J.T. Langley and Jason Fogleman. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his many friends. Memorials may be made to the Charles Smithson Memorial Fund. Visitation will be 4-8PM Friday with a Masonic service at 7:00PM at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615-794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
