Charlie Sawyer, Jr.

Charlie Wilson Sawyer, Jr., age 84 of Franklin, TN passed away January 22, 2019. Member of Walker Baptist Church. He retired as District Manager with Liberty National Life Insurance. Avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge #7. Charlie loved studying genealogy and was a history buff regarding the Civil War. Survived by: wife of 64 years, Jane King Sawyer; daughters, Betsy Sawyer (Greg) Jones and Olivia Sawyer (Tommy) McGaugh; grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) Jones, Michael (Christy) Jones and Charlton Norcom; great grandchildren, Annie Wilson Jones, Charlie Drew Jones and Sullivan Sawyer Jones. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Chuck McElhannon and Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Roy Brown, Daniel Jones, Michael Jones, Charlton Norcom, Aldon McGaugh, Joe McGaugh, Jimmy Nichols and Jamie Ladd. Memorials may be made to Walker Baptist Church, Williamson County Public Library or Williamson County Archives.
