Mrs. Cheryl Smithson Fondaw, age 66 of Nashville, TN passed away February 27, 2015. Graduate of Franklin High School where she was a cheerleader. Raised in Franklin and her family owned and operated the first motel, The Franklin Motel on East Main St. She had numerous friends and relatives in the Franklin area. Preceded in death by parents, Gerald and Vera Smithson. Survived by: husband, John Fondaw, Nashville, TN; step daughter, Kris (Karl) Buss, Clinton, KY; sister, Betty Jenkins, Madison, TN; grandchildren, Nicole Kennedy and Nyle Buss; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Gathering 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Sam Clarke officiating.
