Christopher Michael Himmelman, age 39, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born September 17, 1979, in Montgomery, AL, to Gerard Andrew Himmelman and Linda Diane Springer. He worked as a project manager with R.J. Wherry & Associates. He loved all things sports, whether it be Auburn, Patriots, Red Sox, Predators; but especially watching his beloved sons play ball - no matter what the sport. His love of God, shown through his works as a youth minister and other many acts of charity, led many to be saved and to know the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon (Andrews) Himmelman; sons, Ethan Michael & Andrew Wayne from his first marriage to Tana (Ditto Himmelman) Adams; mother Linda Springer; sister, Amanda (Himmelman) Simmons; sister and brother-in-law Megan (Himmelman) & Courtney Morrow; grandmothers, Alice Springer and Dian Himmelman; grandfather, FD Williams; mother-in-law Rhonda Andrews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stacy and Bryan Harris; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Mike touched are invited to the Williamson Memorial Gardens, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064 from 1p.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
