Retired Safety Investigator with the Federal Highway Administration. Preceded in death by parents, Claud C. Sr. & Malinda Overby Gatlin; wife, Norma Jean Gatlin. Survived by son, Nick (Melissa) Gatlin of Nashville, TN; daughter, Claudia (Maurie) Armstrong of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Anna (Adam) Ackerman & Allison Armstrong. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday, September 2, 2013 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Charles Fitts officiating. There is no visitation scheduled.
