Clayton Veach

Clayton A. "Rabbit" Veach, age 75, Nashville, TN, formerly of Williamson County, TN, passed away January 11, 2016. Rabbit loved to work on cars, race them, and show them off. He enjoyed going to the races at the fairgrounds and NASCAR. He worked at AMACO and Asplundh Tree Company. He knew no stranger and always showed compassion and love for everyone. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack Veach and Susie Lee Garner Veach; brothers, Oscar Veach; Winfred "Doc" Reed; and granddaughter, Alexandra Bryan. Survived by daughters, Amy (James) Reeves and Holly Veach; son, Ken Cole; brothers, Johnny Bennett, Ira Reed, Terry "Dugan" Reed, Jimmy Reed, Kenneth "Honey Man" Reed and Charlie Reed; sisters, Janice Reed and Darlene Spears; and grandchildren, James Veach, Sonny Reeves, Aniya Green, Lilea Rose Veach, Liberty Rain Veach, Titan Alexander Veach and Chris & Tyler Cole. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Bobby Bennett and Robert McBride, officiating. Interment Bennett Cemetery. Pallbearers will Johnny Bennett, Ira Reed, Terry "Dugan" Reed, Jimmy Reed, Kenneth "Honey Man" Reed, Charlie Reed, James Reeves and James Veach. Memorials may be made to the Clayton Veach Memorial Fund.
