Clive Buttrey, Sr.

Clive W. "Shorty" Buttrey, Sr., age 73 of the Peytonsville Community, passed away December 11, 2016. Retired truck driver, most recently with the former CPS Corp. in Franklin, TN. Preceded in death by wife, Della L. Garner Buttrey, and parents, Archie Lee Sr. and Nell Frances Parker Buttrey. Survived by: son, C.W. Jr. (Jenny) Buttrey; grandsons, Lucas G. and William M. Buttrey; brothers, Archie Jr. (Janice) Buttrey, Kenneth (Dawn Ford) Buttrey, Gerald Buttrey, and Roger (Elaine) Buttrey; sisters-in-law, Susie Bennett and Linda Faye Garner and brothers-in-law, Bob (Annie Pearl) Garner and Logan Veach; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, and other family members. Services will be conducted 1:00PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 4-8PM Monday and 10AM-1PM Tuesday. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trey and Levi Buttrey, William Lawrence "Copper" and Ricky Bennett, Stoney Johnson, Bob Jr. and Stacy Garner, Tony and Matt Davis, and Ronnie Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be remaining nephews and employees of the former CPS Corp. Special thanks to his dedicated caregivers Tina, Amanda, Jess, Tracey, Debbie, and Amedisys Hospice.
