Col. French

Col. Vernon Arnold French, age 87 of Franklin, TN passed away October 3, 2015. Mr. French was a retired Colonel from the U.S. Army and a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College. He was also retired from Dupont where he worked as a maintenance supervisor. He was a long time member of the Old Hickory Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Doris M. French; his two sons, Van and Corky all of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Leah, Mandy, Cory, Dusty and fourteen great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 7, 2015 with visitation from 10:00AM until service time at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Corky French officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Outreach Ministries, P.O. Box 1529 ~ Franklin, TN 37065.
