MILLER, Colonel Ray Edmund, age 82 of Brentwood, TN, March 22, 2012. Retired Colonel with 27 years of service in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Comman. He was a highly decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Retired from Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming as Wing Commander of the 90th Strategic Missile Wing. Later he became an owner of Franklin Rent All, an equipment rental business in Franklin, TN. Survived by: wife of 60 years, Jean Hunter Miller; son, Mark Hunter (Karin) Miller; daughter, Melissa Miller; grandchildren, Andrew Paul (Jennifer) Priest & Jennifer Nicole Miller; great grandchildren, Ryann & Braelyn Priest and other loving family members; special friend, Frank Giardina. Funeral services will be conducted 9:00 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Karl Bjork, John Giardina, Wayne Killebrew, John & Matthew Meyer & Jody Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be William Heckendorn, William Payne, William Minneci, Fred Hull, Malcolm Patton, J.T. Culberson & J.C. Meyer. Full Military Honors will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
