Graduate of Hillsboro High School, where he was a champion wrestler; Graduated the Police Academy at Walter State Community College and received his A.S. Degree from Nashville Tech; a former field training officer. Survived by wife, Dawn McLaren of Franklin, TN; mother, Lois McLaren of Nashville, TN; father, Dr. Ross (Shaolu) McLaren of Nashville, TN; brother, Stephen McLaren of Nashville, TN; sisters, Doris (Steve) Gossett of Murfreesboro, TN, Jamie McLaren of Nashville, TN & Lucy Hsu McLaren of Nashville, TN; nephew, Stephen McLaren, Jr. of Nashville, TN and other loving family members and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00AM Friday, February 12, 2010 at Brentwood Baptist Church, Dr. Michael Glenn & Dr. Rob Morgan officiating. Interment, Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison, TN. Active Pallbearers will be Law Enforcement & Family. Honorary pallbearers will be Spring Hill City Police, Law Enforcement & Special Friends.
