Craig Cochran Young, age 79 from Franklin, TN, passed away on October 19, 2024. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. He was born June 26, 1945, in Framingham, Massachusetts. Craig graduated from high school and enrolled in college where he was always involved in community efforts and enjoyed being involved with his fraternity. After graduating, he began a very successful, lifelong career as an engineer for GM/Saturn.

After retirement, he and his wife Patricia kept themselves busy spending quality time with family and friends and giving back to their community. They both had a great love of animals and volunteered many years at the Williamson County Animal Center. He also was a Master Gardener and enjoyed volunteering at the local gardens in Franklin, along with keeping his landscape in pristine condition.

Craig Cochran Young was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Worobel Young in 2020.

He is survived by his son; Kyle Young (Michelle); grandson, Keelan Williams and his precious feline friends, Smokey, Suzy Q and Bella.

Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 AM Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Williamson County Animal Center.
