Mr. Cyrus Wayne Harper, age 84 of Brentwood, TN passed away July 14, 2015. Retired Secretary/Treasurer for Dixie Concrete Pipe Co., Inc. after 46 years of service. Lifetime member for 43 years at the Nashville Elks Lodge #72. Past member of the Nashville Credit Men's Association and served on the board of directors. Avid Vanderbilt Fan. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survived by: wife of 66 years, Joann Harper; daughter, Sylvia (Ray) Mercer; son, Cyrus "Cy" Wayne II (Jamea) Harper; grandchildren, Tyler (Christie), Todd & Katherine Mercer, Rus & Elizabeth Harper; brother, Bob Harper and sister, Lillian Proctor. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, July 17, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dennis Meeker officiating. Entombment Williamson Memorial Gardens Remembrance Mausoleum. Family & friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Nashville Elk Lodge #72. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. The Elk Memorial Service will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday.
