Mr. David John Allen, age 65 of Franklin, TN passed away June 21, 2014. Veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Gertrude O'Brien Allen. Survived by wife of 19 years, Brenda Burks Allen; son, Patrick (Amanda) Lowery; daughter Leigh Ann Rhodes; grandchildren, Lillian Lowery, Taylor Warren and Lacie Warren; brothers, Ralph (Betsy) Allen, Mark (Kristen) Allen and Bruce (Cathy Schultz) Allen; sisters, Joan Brunette, Carol Kimel, Diane McCollian, Sharon (Steve) Wiegert and Mary Allen. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30AM Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Father Tran officiating. Inurnment at a later date at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
