Diane Serfass

Diane Serfass of Brentwood, TN passed peacefully from this life surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Diane was born in Dickson City, PA on January 31, 1937 to the late Joseph Thomas and Regina Sowinski. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Ronald V. Serfass, Sr. Diane dedicated her life to raising her four children, Karen (Joe) Stamps, Donna (Matt) Wolfe (St. Louis, MO), Ronnie (deceased) (Margaret) Serfass, and Debbie (Jeff) Morales. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking big meals, and entertaining her and Ron's numerous friends. She had a passion for playing the accordion, piano, and could dance the Polka like no other. She was a devout, active, and long-time member of St. Philip Catholic Church. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Frank) Stamps Mondelli, Anna (Brien) Serfass Herbert, Michael (Whitney) Serfass, Matthew and Diana Wolfe, and Vincent, Mark, and Joseph Morales, and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Frankie Mondelli. She was predeceased by her son Ronald V. Serfass, Jr. and her brother Joseph Sowinski. The family would like to thank her many friends from St. Philip Catholic Church, Julie Bielawski, Bill and Betty Jo Allen, and her very dear friends, Louise and Ralph (deceased) Volpe, for over 45 years of fun and friendship. We especially thank Jana Nixon for her kind and loving care of our beloved Diane. The Serfass family will receive friends and visitors on Monday, October 7, 2019, at St. Philip Catholic Church, 113 2nd Ave. S., Franklin, TN 37064 from 10:00 to 11:00, followed by a Mass at 11:00 and a luncheon reception thereafter.
