Dolores Torres

TORRES, Mrs. Dolores Hildegarde age 81 of Chicago, IL passed away March 20, 2014 with her loving family at her side in Spring Hill, TN. Dolores was a generous soul who opened her home to family, friends, and many stray cats over the years. She was faithful and loyal to her husband, Rafael, adopting his culture and family as her own. Dolores never met a stranger, making friends easily, and charming all with her sweet smile and open heart. She loved all animals, especially cats. But most of all she loved her family. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Rafael Alberto Torres, the love of her life and by her oldest son, Michael A. Torres. Survived by son, Paul G.R. Torres and beloved daughter in-law, Mary; daughter, Linda Ann Torres; sister, Anna Kaechele; grandchild, Jillian Alyse Webb and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save-a-Pet. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
