Dona Smith

Mrs. Dona Lavon Smith, age 81, passed away Monday June 28, 2010. Dona was an elementary education teacher for many years in the Marion, Indiana area, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spring Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Emma Mae Miller Gray, son, Billy Smith and granddaughter, Jenny Haynes. Dona is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul H. Smith of Spring Hill, TN; daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Gary) Haynes of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Lori Knight, Vickie Frederick & Andy Haynes; great grandchildren, Ean, Phillip, Jacob, Nicholas, Cameron & Emily. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. J.C. Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
