Mr. Donald Schnakenberg, age 50 of Thompson's Station, TN, February 21, 2010. Retired from Metro Government after thirteen years service with the Office of Fleet Management. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Stella Valonis Schnakenberg. Survived by: wife of 28 years, Diane Ragsdale Schnakenberg; daughter, Holly Schnakenberg (David) Pitt; son, Dean Schnakenberg; brother, Fred "Chip" Schnakenberg; and sister, Jackie Caudill. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Gary Fewell officiating. Interment Baker Cemetery in Primm Springs, TN. Active pallbearers, John Kinnie, Brian Sanders, Kenneth Slaughter, Donald Duncan, Randall Scott & Darell Kincaid. Honorary pallbearers, Don Shepard, Bill Malcolm, Stacy Walls, Ronnie Scott & all employees of Office of Fleet Management. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
