Donald Weil

February 1, 1925 — March 21, 2015

Mr. Donald Clark Weil, age 90 of Brentwood, TN passed away March 21, 2015 at Somerfield at the Heritage. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Paul and Gladys Weil. Graduated from Great Neck High School in Long Island, NY. Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. Received his BS Degree from Colgate University in 1949. Member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He was Vice President of Sales for Harris Publishing Company where he retired. Avid golfer and member of North Hempstead Country Club and Aspetuck Valley Country Club. After retirement he volunteered as an Ambassador at the West Palm Beach Airport. Throughout his life he loved the beach and boating but his true love and devotion was to his family so he moved to Tennessee to be with more of them. He was inspirational in developing skills that were passed along to his sons, Mike, Jeff and Bob. His legacy will live on in their lives. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Phyllis Weil, his daughters-in-law Doreen, Ruthie, and Julie, as well as six grandchildren, Matt and Katie, Jennie and David, Bethany and Ben. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ward Jones officiating. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Memorials may be made to Honor Flight www.honorflight.org . Flowers are also welcome. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
