Doris Davis

Mrs. Doris Davis, age 81 of the Smarden Community, died November 18, 2015 at her home, surrounded by family. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Davis; parents, Robert J. and Beulah Walker and great granddaughter, Kimberly Yarbourgh. Survivors include children, Kenneth (Gail) Davis, Jeffrey (Kelly) Davis, Mike (Lynn) Davis, Donna (Ricky) Warf; grandchildren, Kristina (Mike) Irwin, Lee (Amber) Davis, Brandon Warf, Jason (Alison) Davis, Daylan (Kesiha) Davis, Carrie (Braxton) West, Devin Warf, Lathan Davis, Areta (Paul) Thompson, Stacey (Waylon) Chunn and Karla (David) Yarbourgh; nineteen great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Fox and Joyce Bugg, numerous nieces and nephews and very special caregiver, Carolyn Hodge. Doris is a member of Taylors Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and devoted member of Bethel Community Club. Doris enjoyed embroidering, sewing, quilting, and dancing. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Tommy Fox officiating. Interment Lynn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be sons, son-in-law and grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be "Bethel Babes", Bethel Community Club, Roger and Etta Fox, Alonzo Walker, Roy and Sarah Griggs, Geraldine Anderson, Wes and Carolyn Hall, Dorothy Hayes and employees of Caris Healthcare.
