Dorothy Dorton Buford, age 62 of Franklin, TN passed away October 2, 2016. Lifelong resident of Williamson Co. and she loved her family & animals. Attended Berry's Chapel Church. Preceded in death by parents, William & Mary Peach Dorton. Survived by son, Bobby Buford; Bobby's father, Dit Rainey Buford; sisters, Mary S. Cox, Glenda A. Border, Mildred C. Dorton & Pauline Hayes; brothers, William Floyd Dorton, Robert William Dorton, James Charles Dorton, Filmore Dorton & Lee A. Dorton; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon Rediker officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: William Perry Cox, Steve Sells, Daniel Harris, Billy Pewitt, Charles William Cox & Tony Carrington. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.
