Dorothy L. McCord Ryan, age 94 of the Bethesda Community passed away February 12, 2018 at her home. Born in Williamson County to the late Walker L. & Annie Lou Reed McCord. She attended Draughon's Business College. Preceded in death by her husband, George Ryan. Survived by son, George Mac Ryan; daughters, Bettye Cason, Dottie Lynn (John) Green and Joyce Laurette (Charles) Rutledge; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held 10:00AM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Giles Daniel Cemetery, Jim Taylor officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 478 Craighead St. Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37204, American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN 37203 or the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203.
