Always brave enough to see the light and be the light.
A strong advocate and mighty voice for love, equality, and social justice.
A friend to so many.
Loved the arts, animals, and helping others whenever possible.
A talented musician who could sing and bring his Momma to tears.
An artist who gifted others with memorable paintings done with a thoughtful touch.

Doug graduated from Page High School in Williamson County, and then moved on to graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in English.   He played a lead role in several theatre performances between Page High School and Act Too Players in Franklin.   Doug volunteered at the Williamson Animal Shelter, and leaves behind Rogue, his sweet cat that he adopted several years ago.
