Dwight "Bear" Keever Cauthen, Jr. age 67, was born in 1947 to the late Margaret and Keever Cauthen Sr., passed away suddenly on August 28, 2015. Before retiring, Dwight was an electrician at Vanderbilt Hospital.
An all around athlete at Two Rivers High School, Dwight lettered in football (Co-captain), basketball, baseball and track. He was voted Senior Superlative Most Athletic. Dwight was a 32nd degree Mason and also a Shriner
Dwight is survived by his wife of 31 years Minnie Dahlgren Cauthen, his daughter Kristi Cauthen Huff and grandsons Hunter and Holden Huff, sisters Judy Brandon, Ellen (Rex) Thigpen, Gina (Gary) Tisdale, and Debbie (Tim) Hill, former wife Sandra C. Gregg, seven nieces and two nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Gayle Haywood officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, August 31 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
