Edith Garrett

Edith Odell Luckett Garrett, age 91 of Franklin, TN passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at her daughter's home in Spring Hill, TN. Long-time native of Williamson County, she was born in Hickman County, TN to the late James & Rosa Sullivan Luckett. She was a member of Franklin Church of Christ. She and her late husband William owned and operated Garrett's Amoco in Franklin,TN for many years until their retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William M. Garrett; sisters, Lettie Mae Warf, Marie Keys & Elizabeth Bandy; brother, Edison Luckett; sons in-law, Jimmy Hickman & William J. "Bill" Cude. Survived by daughters, Gayle Hickman of Spring Hill, TN, Janice Cude of Franklin, TN & Marie (Russ) Faulkner of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Stace (Sandy) Hickman, Jaime Hester, Erica (Matt) Montgomery, Dawn Howard & Racheal (Cory) Hartman; nine great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Luckett & Lloyd (Pam) Luckett both of Franklin, TN; sisters, Ramona McRee of Franklin, TN, Juanelle Eden of Franklin, TN & Alma Calvert of Pasadena, MD and many loving nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 3:00PM Wednesday, July 18, 2018 with visitation from 12 Noon - 3:00PM prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Perry Muse, Mitch Davis & Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Stace Hickman, Matt & Will Montgomery, Dan Hester, Russ Faulkner, Kahn Garrett and Jimmy Luckett. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and caregivers at WillowBrook Hospice & Southern Care Assisted Living.
