Mrs. Edith Paterson Higgins, age 97, of Columbia, TN, formerly of Lake George, NY passed away November 16, 2014 at NHC of Columbia.
Mrs. Higgins worked as a Dental Assistant for many years, and was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd D. Higgins, Sr.; parents, Charles & Edith Hobby Paterson; sons, Lloyd D. Higgins, Jr. & Thomas John Higgins; grandson, William Charles Baker and brother, Frank Paterson.
Survived by her daughter, Dorothy Ann "Dottie" (David) Leway of Columbia, TN; son, Charles Albert (Patty) Higgins of Glens Falls, NY; sister, Ruth Woolfrey of Summerville, SC; seven grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Lake George, NY.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
