Mrs. Edna Hood Gentry, age 94 of Franklin, TN. April 30, 2014. Born in Williamson County, TN and a long time member of the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ. Employed with Optometrist, Dr. Bob Sullivan for over 30 years. Preceded in death by husband, William Gentry; daughter, Joyce Lyell; son, David Gentry; brother Gordon Hood. Survived by daughters, Patricia Buford and Janis Lepley; grandchildren, Brandon and Mark Buford, Jason (Sheala) Nichols, Jeffrey (Roberta) Nichols, Chad (Jen) Gentry, Will Gentry, Rebecca (Rob) Atkins and Katherine (Jonathan) Duncan; great grandchildren, Zach Buford, Morgan, Joe, Andy, and Emma Nichols, Claire, Brooks and Kate Atkins, Eli, Lydia, Silas and Gideon Duncan. Services will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Nancy Baughman and Kyle Bills officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Grandchildren to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer, nephew Billy Hood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ.
