Edward Kelly

Edward Scruggs Kelly, Jr., a lifelong resident of Nashville, TN, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 74.

Ed was born in Nashville, TN, son of the late Edward, Sr. & Martha Anne Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kelley C. Kelly.

Survivors include his siblings, Alice Kelly McCurdy, Bill (Glenda) Kelly & Carole Kelly along with several nieces & nephews.

Ed graduated from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN & Vanderbilt University & Vanderbilt Law School. He practiced law in the Nashville area for over 40 years. Ed was in the US Army reserves. He was a longtime member of Woodmont Christian Church.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Followed by a 2:30 PM graveside inurnment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, TN.
