Eleanor "Ellie" Helm Fields, age 39 of Franklin, TN passed away suddenly on July 18, 2015. Born in Virginia Beach, VA, she moved to Jacksonville at age 8 where she graduated Episcopal High School in 1995.
Ellie adored and loved her nine year old son, Jacob "Jake" Helm Plymel. Ellie loved deeply her close friends and family. She also loved her Kentucky Wildcats, her country music, and spending time at her parent's lake house where she and Jake enjoyed fishing, tubing, and laughing. Ellie was the true light of her family and lived each day loving others.
Ellie was a flight attendant for her extended Southwest family for 13 years. Though her work required substantial travel, she was always happiest when she was with her son. In addition to her son Jake, Ellie is survived by her father, Woodford "Woody" Helm Fields; mother, Susan Sanders Fields; and sister, Lindsey Fields Ford (Tom).
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00PM Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org), 6931 Arlington Road 2nd Floor, Bethesda, MD 20814.
