Elizabeth Fox

Mrs. Elizabeth Adwell Fox, age 97 of Nashville, TN passed away March 2, 2016. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star Franklin Chapter. She worked as a secretary with the Tennessee State Legislature, Tennessee State Department of Education and the Tennessee State Attorney General's Office where she met her late husband, Thomas Edward Fox. She and Tom married in 1958 and she was so dedicated to his success. After leaving her last place of employment, she worked and retired helping her husband in his law practice. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lillian Adwell and brother, James Adwell. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to the service. Rev. Sherry Perry will be officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephew Jimmy Adwell, Sandra & Jerry Abner, Dr. Leslie Franklin, Tom Jones, Tom Taylor, Covington Johnston, Staff and Residents at Blakeford of Green Hills, Shaida and all caregivers from Blakeford at Home.
