WHITEHEAD, Mrs. Ellen Kees, age 85 of Franklin, TN, May 8, 2014. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Odell Whitehead; daughter, Lois Ann Whitehead and brother, Robert Kees. Survived by son, Karl (Valorie) Whitehead; daughters, Sue Carter and Sylvia Dross; brother, Heinz Kees; sister, Brigette Balog; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jim), Russ (Karen), Scott, Rachel (Michael), Sarah and Alex; great grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon, Carson, Claire, Megan, Nicole and Zachary and devoted nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held May 10, 2014. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Gentry Educational Foundation.
