Survived by: wife, Cherry Lane Broadwell Darken, Leipers Fork Community; sons, Brett R. (Annie) Darken & Eric A. (Anne) Darken; granddaughter, Jane Anne Darken all of Nashville, TN; sister, Nanci D. (Lawrence) Buck, Hilton Head, SC;, Interment 10:30AM Friday April 9 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia,TN. Memorial service will be conducted 2:30 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at Hillsboro United Methodist Church in Leipers Fork Community, Rev. Tom Herring officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
