BARNES, Mrs. Evelyn Ladd, age 81 of College Grove, TN died February 25, 2014 at her home. Born in Williamson County to the late Ewin & Cleveland Underwood Ladd. She attended Calvary Apostolic Church. Preceded in death by first husband, James Bennett, Sr.; second husband, Glenn Barnes; son, James Bennett, Jr.; three brothers, Herman, Robert and Elmer Ladd; two grandchildren, Margaret H. Reynolds and Clinton Treadway. Survived by daughters, Linda (Donnie) Reynolds of Franklin, TN, Brenda McCoy of Chapel Hill, TN, Kay (Larry) McCoy of Franklin, TN, Cindy (Gary) Treadway of Shelbyville, TN and Darlene (Ray) Rediker of Franklin, TN; brothers, Charles, Roy, Clifton and William Ladd; step-children, Kenneth, Jeffrey, Neil, Rodney & Timothy Barnes and Debra Martin; twenty-six grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; seventeen step-grandchildren; seventeen step-great grandchildren and one step-great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Larry Hammonds and Jeffrey Hollingshead officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Evelyn Ladd Memorial Fund.
